The Mojaloop Foundation engaged us to refresh their colour palette with a more mature, sophisticated aesthetic that would resonate with their government-focused audience and better align with evolving industry standards. Although more mature, the palette still needed to represent the bright, colourful energy of the company’s people.

  • Approaches 01–03 were presented in the first design proposal.

    • Feedback: Approach 03 is moving in the correct direction. They would like to see more saturated colours. No earth tones. Use African fabrics as inspiration.

    Approaches 04–05 were presented in the second design proposal.

    • Feedback: Both options were loved and it was a very hard decision, ultimately Approach 05 was chosen as the final.

  • Individual Colour Rationale:

    Plum
    A royal, opulent shade synonymous with wisdom, power, and cultural depth, reinforcing a distinguished brand presence.

    Fuschia
    A vibrant, strategic accent that signals modernity and creativity, inspired by dynamic African textiles.

    Lagoon
    A striking blue-green that enhances innovation, adaptability, and strong digital presence.

    Vine
    Earthy and prestegious, symbolizing, success, and ambition.

    Gold
    A tribute to Africa’s wealth in resources and its golden legacy in trade and history, reinforcing a prestigious image.

    Maroon
    Deep and grounding, preventing the palette from feeling overly playful.

    White & Black
    Ensures balance, contrast, and professional elegance.
