The client brief called for cozy, nature-forward, and quietly elevated — a brand that felt like a coffee shop window on a spring morning. Mood boards leaned into cottage-core aesthetics: botanical forms, soft warm tones, and an organic ease that never undercuts the professionalism of the work.

The core creative challenge was threading warmth and accessibility through a visual language that still felt considered and beautiful.

The lowercase "mae" wordmark strikes a balance between warmth and refinement — approachable without feeling casual. The softness of the letterforms mirrors the client's people-first ethos, while the clean, modern treatment keeps the brand feeling fresh and scalable across digital platforms.

Botanical illustration was woven in as a supporting element to reflect the nature-forward direction, with an alternate circle lockup developed for flexibility across the social and digital formats central to Mae Media's work.

Matcha, evergreen, and mint greens anchor the palette, evoking the nature-forward, coffee shop warmth at the heart of the brief. A soft butter-yellow adds a spring-like lightness — bright enough to feel supportive, quiet enough to not overpower.

My botanical illustration style uses organic line work and natural forms to bring texture and life to the identity, tying everything back to the cozy, cottage-core inspiration my client had in mind.
